A former inmate of the Cayuga Correctional Facility was found guilty of attacking an officer there in 2022.
Darryl Bradshaw now faces additional time behind bars.
District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonoacci confirmed that Bradshaw had attempted to injure the officer, slicing him in the neck, during his transfer from the cell on October 16, 2022.
Bradshaw now faces an additional two to four years of imprisonment, to run consecutively with his current sentence.
Sentencing is scheduled for August.
