Deputies say a Butler man faces 10+ charges after a disturbance at his home on Memorial Day.
According to a news release, James Merritt, 55, of Butler menaced a group of four adults and three children with a BB gun while at his home Monday evening.
Deputies and New York State Police investigated the incident.
He was charged with seven counts of menacing; three counts of endangering the welfare of a child; and one count of criminal possession of a weapon.
All of the charges will be answered at a later date.
Merritt was taken to the Wayne County Jail and held there pending arraignment.
