Keuka College holds 114th commencement ceremony

Keuka College held its 114th commencement ceremony on Saturday, marking a return to a single, unified event for the entire graduating class, after pandemic safety measures necessitated separate proceedings in previous years.

College President Amy Storey applauded the graduating class’s resilience and resolve in earning their degrees amid the extraordinary challenges posed by the last four years.

The ceremony, which took place in front of the College’s Norton Chapel, saw over 330 undergraduate and graduate students receive their diplomas.

Highlights included speeches from three Class of ’23 students, including Exchange student Boyan Wang, Senior Class President Francesca Daniele, and Board of Trustee student member Alyssa Litvaitis. Each speaker shared their unique experiences and lessons learned at the college. The event also recognized Dr. Barbara S. Allardice ’61 with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters for her dedicated service and commitment to the College, presented by College Trustee Donald Wertman.
