Emergency teams responded to a fire alarm at Cornell University’s Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall, a north campus residence hall, late Saturday night.
The Cornell University Police Department reported finding laundry damaged by fire on the building’s 4th floor.
The building’s fire suppression system effectively confined the fire to the immediate area, according to a Cornell University Police Department statement. Both the university police and the City of Ithaca Fire Department are investigating the incident.
Any information relating to the occurrence, which happened at approximately 11:24 PM on Saturday, May 20th, should be directed to the Cornell University Public Safety Communications Center.
