The Yates County’s new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) unit is set to commence operations next month, as per an announcement on their Facebook page.
The new county-operated ambulance service, equipped with one new and three used ambulances, has undergone graphics and lettering updates and is set for a New York State inspection in less than three weeks.
The EMS unit will be staffed by six full-time and three part-time paramedics, alongside additional EMTs, and will enhance the existing system in the county.
