The Auburn City Council is considering options for the repair of the over 150-year-old stone bridge on Aurelius Ave.
Assistant Civil Engineer Scott McIntyre and Popli Design presented two alternatives: rehabilitation, which would modernize the structure while preserving the original arches, or a total reconstruction involving a single arch across the water.
Any chosen plan will need approval from the New York State Office of Historic Preservation.
