Deputies report the arrest of a Lyons man following a domestic incident during the early-morning hours on Wednesday.
According to a news release, Christopher Sergeant, of Lyons was arrested for one count of criminal obstruction of breathing and one count of criminal mischief.
It’s alleged that Sergeant intentionally placed his hands on the female victim’s throat and applied pressure, thereby obstructing her breathing.
It’s further alleged that during the same incident he broke a television.
He was arrested and transported to the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment.
