Traffic changes ahead of Dead & Co. concert Monday night in Ithaca

As Cornell University gears up for the much-anticipated Dead & Company concert on Monday night, the campus is set to experience significant changes to parking and road access from Sunday through Tuesday morning.

The university has issued an alert stating that thousands of guests are expected to attend the historic event, necessitating temporary alterations to traffic patterns and parking lots, particularly around Barton Hall. The university advises individuals who need to be on campus during this time to park in designated lots with free access, as indicated by green on a parking map. Additionally, Cornell warns that further closures or changes to traffic patterns may occur without prior notice.

Starting from Sunday, May 7, at 7:00 a.m. until Tuesday, May 9, at 8:00 a.m., Garden Avenue will be closed between Campus Road and Tower Road, affecting the ILR parking lot, Barton Hall parking spaces, and FLEX parking spaces.
