Mets-Tigers game postponed due to inclement weather

Tuesday’s game between the New York Mets and Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The contest will be made up Wednesday as part of a split doubleheader. Game 1 will begin at 1:40 p.m., and Game 2 will start at 6:40 p.m.

It will be Joey Lucchesi on the mound for New York in the first game and Max Scherzer in the nightcap.

The Mets have now had three postponements in the last five days.
