Police: Ithaca woman faces felony charges after smashing out business door, burglarizing it

Police say they were called to a commercial burglary around 1:30 a.m. in the city of Ithaca and now a city resident faces several charges.

The report came in around the 200 block of North Meadow Street, as a person inside a store after the door had been shattered.

Police arrived and searched the premise and found a person inside. That individual was identified as 37-year-old Tiffany Kendrick, of Ithaca.

After a brief struggle she was taken into custody and charged with third-degree burglary, a Class D felony, as well as misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief and obstruction.

The investigation remains active.
