Police arrested a Canandaigua man who fled officers after a domestic incident in the city.
According to a news release, David Bradley, 43, was charged with aggravated family offense, unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child, and obstruction following a disturbance on Saltonstall Street.
It was determined by investigators that Bradley forcibly restrained a child and prevented them from exiting his vehicle. He then attempted to flee officers on foot after being advised that he was being taken into custody.
Police also said Bradley had to be instructed to release the child.
He had previously been convicted of a family offense in the last five years, which resulted in felony charges. He was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
