One of the biggest upsets in NHL history took place Sunday night in Boston.
After falling behind 3-1 in the best-of-seven first-round playoff series, the Florida Panthers stormed back to tie the series and eliminated the Presidents’ Trophy-winning Bruins in Game 7 at the TD Garden.
Brandon Montour tied it with one minute left in regulation, and Carter Verhaeghe scored the game-winner at 8:35 of overtime to lead Florida to a 4-3 victory.
