On Friday, April 21 state police arrested Justin L. Hyde, a 27-year-old man from Campbell on charges of second-degree rape and second-degree criminal contempt.
The arrest followed an investigation into the reported sexual assault of a 14-year-old female and the violation of a valid court-issued Order of Protection in the town of Dix, Schuyler County.
After being taken into custody, Hyde was held at the Schuyler County CAP facility to await further court proceedings.
