On Friday, April 21 a Newfield man was arrested by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department after a traffic stop conducted by the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office.
Jaimy F. Allen, 44, was taken into custody at 3:24 a.m. when it was discovered that he had an active bench warrant for failing to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court.
The warrant was issued due to several traffic charges against Allen, including unlicensed operation, aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, and failure to dim headlights. Following his arrest, custody of Allen was handed over to the Seneca Falls Police Department, who transported him to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
He was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
