The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Canandaigua man following a domestic incident in Wayland.
According to a news release, Shane Hartman, 34, of Canandaigua unlawfully entered a residence and choked another person.
Deputies say Hartman acted in a way that would’ve potentially resulted in injury to a child under 17, which resulted in additional charges.
Hartman was charged with burglary, criminal obstruction of breathing, and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned and released.
