Super Bowl Champion and 2015 Hobart College graduate Ali Marpet returned to campus this week to be inducted into the Hobart Athletics Hall of Fame. Marpet, who played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, participated in every game during his seven-year professional career, including the team’s victory over Kansas City in Super Bowl LV in 2021. As the 61st overall pick in the 2015 draft, Marpet became the highest-selected Division III player in history.

The 2023 inductees also include football stars Tyre Coleman (class of 2015) from Poughkeepsie and Shawn Mizro (class of 2007) from Fairport. Lacrosse players Harold Draffen (class of 1975) from Hempstead, Kevin Martin (class of 1981) from Clinton, and Scott Petosa (class of 1980) from Chittenango were also inducted.
