The New York Yankees (12-7) remain the only team in Major League Baseball without a series loss after picking up a 9-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels (9-10) on Thursday evening at Yankee Stadium.
New York jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning and rolled from there despite the Angels cutting the lead to two in the seventh.
Jose Trevino led the way with a two-out bases-clearing double. Isiah Kiner-Falefa plated a pair of runs with a two-out single and made two great defensive plays in center field. DJ LeMahieu drove in a run with a double, while Oswald Peraza added two RBIs with a walk and single. Anthony Rizzo went 3-for-3 with two walks and an RBI, raising his batting average to .344.
