The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 35-year-old Painted Post man following a larceny investigation in Erwin.
According to a news release, Justin Furney, 35, is accused of stealing property from a retain center in Erwin. It’s further alleged that he had previously been banned from the property.
During the investigation, deputies found suspected fentanyl. Altogether, Furney was charged with felony burglary, and misdemeanor counts of petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
