State police arrested a Horseheads man on weapons charges following a suspicious incident investigation.
According to an announcement from New York State Police, Jason Cox, 43, of Horseheads was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. One of those was a felony, while the other was a misdemeanor. He was also charged with one count of criminal sale of a firearm.
During the investigation two long guns were seized, police said.
Cox was arraigned and held at the Chemung County Jail on no bail.
