Law enforcement officials in Ontario County are asking that any boaters on Honeoye Lake abide by a no wake order.
This comes after recent heavy rains have made lake level higher than normal.
According to Sheriff Cirencione, everyone should exercise caution on the lake, watch for debris, and not exceed 5 mph until further notice.
It’s unclear how long this order will remain active.
