Marijuana at the mall? Fingerlakes Mall expected to be site of new cannabis business

Cayuga County-based cannabis business, I’m Stuck, is set to open its third location, Willy Ganja, inside Fingerlakes Mall by April 20, according to owner David Tulley. The company, which already has two other locations in the area, will continue its business model of offering priced consultations to customers and providing cannabis products tailored to their needs.

Tulley plans to close the Weed Warehouse on Crane Brook Drive and direct customers to the new Willy Ganja location. However, I’m Stuck is currently unlicensed by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management and has been criticized for operating in the “gray market.” The office seeks stronger enforcement powers and harsher penalties against such businesses.

Despite this, Tulley has ambitious plans for the Fingerlakes Mall, envisioning it as New York state’s first marijuana mall with a cannabis edible restaurant and an indoor growing facility. He has expressed his intent to obtain a license for his business, although he claims he missed the submission deadline due to short notice from the state.

In response to Tulley’s plans, Sutton Real Estate Co., on behalf of the mall’s owners and tenants, issued a statement emphasizing their commitment to a safe, family-friendly environment and adherence to local, state, and federal laws. They also denied any such plans as described in the article.
