Police in Ithaca are investigating a shooting with injuries that happened in the area of North Plain Street around 3 a.m.
According to a news release, IPD officers arrived finding blood. They determined a suspect forced his way inside a residence and a dispute occurred.
Both the victim and suspect fled before police arrived. The victim, who is not being identified at this time suffered what’s being described as a non-life-threatening injury.
They were transported to a regional hospital.
No further information is being released at this time.
