One family has been displaced after an early morning fire in the city of Auburn.
According to the Auburn Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to 11 Madison Avenue around 4:11 a.m.
The report indicated that the people inside noted charring on a wall and an odor of something burning.
Firefighters arrived and found no visible smoke or fire from the exterior. However, they did find an active fire in the wall that had extended to the attic.
The fire was knocked down and no injuries were reported. However, the family was displaced.
The cause of the flames remain under investigation.
