Deputies report the arrest of a Williamson man following an investigation into a domestic incident.
Gerrick Powers, 31, of Williamson was charged with criminal mischief and harassment after grabbing his mother, elbowing her in the face, and destroying her phone.
Deputies say Powers damaged the phone to prevent his mother from calling 911. The incident happened on Sunday around 10:15 a.m.
He was taken into custody without incident and will answer the charges at a later date.
