The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office made two arrests following an investigation into a domestic incident that happened on March 31 in Waterloo.

Taylor Bonney, 23, of Waterloo was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Brendan Seager, 27, of Waterloo were charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Both were issued appearance tickets.

According to deputies, it’s alleged that the two were involved in a heated argument in the presence of a child at a residence in Waterloo.

That’s when Bonney picked up a knife and recklessly caused injury to Seager. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.

The sheriff’s office is working closely with Seneca County CPS on this investigation.
