It came without warning, but a popular restaurant in Big Flats has shut down.

Employees of the T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant shut down without warning this week.

It happened after Monday’s day of business, giving workers no notice. The location has been open for nearly two decades.

According to WENY-TV, who spoke with an employee at the restaurant, there were no meetings or emails to notify staff. “This is a big corporation,” Jennifer Parks said, frustrated about the circumstances. “We have to give a two weeks notice if we get a new job … so what makes this right?”

There’s a note on the door that thanks customers for support over the years, but gives no indication of what prompted the closure.
