Original Story: Spectrum customers having trouble calling 911
Emergency management officials in Seneca County say an issue involving Spectrum customers is resulting in failed calls to 911.
“Those with Spectrum telephone service are having trouble calling into 911,” a statement from Emergency Management Director Melissa Taylor said. “You may receive a busy signal, it may continuously ring, or you may receive a message saying your call cannot be completed as dialed.”
If you have Spectrum phone service and you’re not able to reach 911 by dialing those three digits – call the non-emergency line at (315) 539-9241.
Spectrum is aware of the issue and working on a resolution, officials added.
