Fans of Chick-fil-A can now breathe a sigh of relief as the fast-food chain announced on Friday (March 31) that the side salad is here to stay. The decision to keep the Side Salad comes after the restaurant chain had earlier removed it from its menus earlier this month.
According to Chick-fil-A’s news release, the decision to remove the Side Salad was part of an effort to simplify and refresh its menu. However, based on feedback from customers, Chick-fil-A has decided to continue serving the Side Salad at participating restaurant locations.
This decision comes days after the company had announced that the beloved side salad would be removed from menus nationwide, much to the dismay of many of its customers.
It’s worth noting that the announcement of the return of the side salad was not an April Fools’ Day prank, as it was made on March 31.
In addition to the return of the Side Salad, Chick-fil-A has also brought back the Watermelon Mint Lemonade after a six-year hiatus. The fast-food chain also added the Watermelon Mint Sunjoy, Frosted Watermelon Mint Lemonade, and Watermelon Mint Iced Tea to its menu.
So, Chick-fil-A fans can now look forward to a refreshing summer menu, including the return of the much-loved Side Salad.
