Watertown man faces array of felony charges after NYSP investigation

On Wednesday, New York State Police in Watertown arrested 45-year-old Edgar L. Richardson of Watertown on an array of charges.


According to authorities, Richardson is accused of damaging and stealing property from several vehicles at a business located in the Town of Pamelia in 2021. The charges against him include second-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree grand larceny, and third-degree criminal trespass.

Following his arrest, Mr. Richardson was arraigned in court and subsequently remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building. The specific details of the case, including the motive behind the alleged criminal activity, were not disclosed by the authorities.
