Police arrested a 31-year-old following a kidnapping investigation in the city.
The incident lasted three days, police said in a news release.
On March 23 around 9:20 a.m. police arrested Michael Phillips for first-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, and obstruction.
The victim in this case was over 65, and held captive inside a residence for three days. Phillips physically assaulted the victim, too.
Police said in a release that the victim was treated at a local hospital following the incident.
He was remanded to the Ontario County Jail without bail.
