CMAC announced that two musical acts, Dan + Shay and The Doobie Brothers, will be performing this summer, and tickets for both shows will go on sale soon.
The Doobie Brothers, who are recognized for hits like “Black Water” and “What a Fool Believes,” will perform in Canandaigua as part of their 50th-anniversary tour, with the members reuniting after 25 years. The four-time Grammy-winning rock band is scheduled to perform their show on July 14 at 8:00 p.m., with tickets becoming available for purchase on Monday, April 3.
Country music duo Dan & Shay will perform at CMAC in August. The band, recognized for hits such as “10,000 Hours” and “Speechless,” made history as the first artists to win a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance three times since the category was created. The band’s August 19th, 2023 performance is set after the success of their album “Good Things,” which achieved RIAA Gold certification upon release. Tickets for the concert will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m.
