One hospitalized after Seneca Falls house fire

Several departments were called to a house fire in Seneca Falls during the early-morning hours on Sunday.

Our partners at the Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire reported that Seneca Falls, Waterloo, Fayette, and Geneva were called to a structure fire on Troy Street.

North Seneca Ambulance was also requested to the scene.

The fire was brought under control after approximately 30 minutes.

One person was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with burns. Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire tells FingerLakes1.com that a helicopter was requested, but could not fly due to high winds.

Greg Cotterill, of Finger Lakes News Radio captured the following photos from the scene.
