Deputies arrested a Canandaigua man following a domestic incident investigation that began January 30th.
According to a news release from the Wayne County Sheriff’s office, Joshua Lawliss, 39, of Canandaigua was arrested earlier this month.
It’s alleged that Lawliss began pulling the hair of a female passenger, keeping her from exiting the vehicle when she wanted to. He then continued operating the vehicle at a high rate of speed, threatening to crash the vehicle into a tree and kill them both.
He was charged with aggravated family offense, unlawful imprisonment, reckless endangerment, and harassment.
He was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
