Police arrested a Rochester woman following an investigation into an incident on March 5th in Seneca County.
According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, officers arrested Venessa Jackson, 56, on March 19th around 8:15 p.m.
Police stopped Jackson after identifying the vehicle she was operating, that she had been involved in a larceny.
While Jackson was not the suspect, the suspect was in the vehicle, and fled the scene. They were caught shortly thereafter.
Officers said Jackson attempted to flee the traffic stop and drove toward officers, failing to follow verbal commands to stop.
Jackson continued and ultimately pulled away while officers attempted to open the door, causing one of the officers to be pulled the ground.
Jackson was charged with reckless endangerment and failure to comply.
She was released on an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
