The Buffalo Bills have agreed to a one-year contract with former New England Patriots running back Damien Harris, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The news comes just hours after former Bills rusher Devin Singletary signed with the Houston Texans.
Harris, 26, is excellent in short-yardage situations, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. In four seasons with the Patriots, Harris racked up 2,094 yards and scored 20 touchdowns on 449 carries across 38 games while also hauling in 40 of 51 passes for 281 yards.
Harris joins second-year running back James Cook and veteran Nyheim Hines in the backfield.
