Man accused of stealing ATM in Ontario County

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has apprehended a man accused of stealing an ATM on Tuesday.

According to deputies, William Cole, 32, unlawfully entered a building in Hopewell and took the machine.

Cole is facing third-degree burglary charges and is currently being held at the Ontario County Jail without the option of bail.

Officials have announced that he will appear in Hopewell Town Court at a yet-to-be-determined date.
