As the snow came down in Northern Seneca County on Tuesday, first responders were kept busy with a series of accidents. While most of those were not serious, one prompted a hefty response on the Thruway in the town of Tyre.
The call came in as a multi-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer and other vehicles.
The Clyde Fire Department responded finding the westbound lanes completely blocked by the tractor-trailer and other vehicles.
Emergency responders from North Seneca evaluated the patients involved in the accident, while CFD crews assisted with fluid leakage, scene cleanup, and traffic control.
Fortunately, no patients required transportation to the hospital.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
