Buffalo Wild Wings confirms lawsuit allegations about its boneless wings

A Chicago man recently filed a lawsuit against Buffalo Wild Wings and franchiser Inspire Brands, Inc., alleging false advertising of the restaurant’s boneless wings.

The plaintiff claims that the product is overpriced since it is essentially just slices of chicken breast meat deep-fried like wings.

In response to the lawsuit, Buffalo Wild Wings confirmed the allegations and sarcastically tweeted that their boneless wings are indeed made of all white meat chicken.

The chain also pointed out that their hamburgers contain no ham and their buffalo wings are 0% buffalo. The lawsuit cites rising costs of actual chicken wings and the reduced cost of chicken breasts as the reason why restaurants started selling boneless wings.

The plaintiff is suing the chain on allegations of false and deceptive business practices, among other claims.
