Scottie Scheffler Clinches Victory at Players Championship, Becomes #1 Ranked Golfer in the World

Scottie Scheffler has emerged as the champion of the Players Championship held at TPC Sawgrass in Pointe Vedra Beach, Florida.

Throughout the tournament, Scheffler maintained a lead after the third day of play and maintained his position on the final day, securing his sixth PGA Tour victory. With a score of -17, Scheffler finished with a comfortable five-shot lead over Tyrell Hatton, who came in second place.


Out of the entire field, Scheffler was one of only three players who were able to shoot scores in the 60s on all four days of the tournament. As the winner, Scheffler earned a prize of 4.5 million dollars and rose to the top spot as the #1 ranked golfer in the world.
