Spirit is expanding its service in Rochester.
Monroe Executive Adam Bello recently announced that Spirit Airlines will offer nonstop air service from the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport to Myrtle Beach International Airport. The service is set to officially begin on May 5th.
Travelers can now take Spirit Airlines to and from Myrtle Beach four times per week. The new service will offer greater access to Myrtle Beach and the South Carolina coastline, whether you’re planning a family beach vacation or a golf getaway at one of the more than 100 courses in the “Golf Capital of the World,” as Bello stated.
This new route to Myrtle Beach marks the second nonstop service for Spirit Airlines out of Rochester. In October 2022, the airline began offering nonstop flight service to Orlando International Airport.
To celebrate this new nonstop service out of ROC, Spirit is offering low promotional fares starting as low as $99 for one-way tickets. Passengers can book flights online at www.spirit.com. It is important to note that dates, times, and prices of flights may change, and exceptions may apply.
