The Tigers (24-1) defeated the Depew Wildcats (23-3), 73-62, on Saturday evening at Buffalo State College behind another big third-quarter run.
After trailing by four at the break, Waterloo quickly erased the deficit and outscored Depew 22-11 in the third quarter to take a seven-point lead into the final eight minutes and never looked back.
Jazzmyn Lewis led three Tigers in double figures with 26 points. She scored 19 in the second half. Morgan Caraballo netted 18 points, and Natalie Disanto poured in 13. Addison Bree connected on a pair of three-pointers and finished with six points.
