Three New York City-area residents were arrested in Lyons on an array of serious, felony charges after an investigation into an incident that happened in Sodus.
State police described that incident as one that took place between March 3rd and 4th in the town of Sodus.
The three suspects, identified as Wadhah Alsaidi, 22, Abdullah Negm, 20, and Joseph Cook, 18, kidnapped three victims at gunpoint and burglarized their residence.
It was further reported that two of the suspects fled to New York City and had planned to escape the U.S.
State police collaborated with investigators in New York City and apprehended all three. They were charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, and second-degree kidnapping.
All three are in custody in Wayne County and will answer the charges at a later date.
