On March 3rd state police from Wayland responded to a report of a trespass in progress on Avery Hollow Road in the town of Cohocton.
After arriving at the scene, Troopers arrested John F. Minardo Jr., a 52-year-old resident of Cohocton, for criminal trespass in the second degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and criminal contempt in the second degree. All charges are class A misdemeanors.
According to law enforcement officials, Minardo allegedly trespassed on a property and caused damage to the property. The criminal contempt charge was filed due to an order of protection that was in place against Minardo.
Minardo was taken into custody and transported to SP Wayland for processing before being taken to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment.
