Deputies arrested an Ithaca woman following an incident in February.
Christina E. Oxley, a 45-year-old resident of Ithaca, was arrested on February 14th, and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony, as well as two vehicle and traffic law violations.
According to law enforcement officials, Oxley was pulled over during a routine traffic stop when a Sheriff’s K-9 alerted to the presence of methamphetamine in her vehicle. In addition to the illegal substance, officers also found unidentified pills and drug paraphernalia.
Oxley was arraigned in Schuyler County CAP Court, where she was remanded to jail without bail. The charges against her allege that she was in possession of the drugs with the intent to sell.
