Kurt Kitayama emerged as the victor on a windy and challenging day at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Golf Club, prevailing over a talented and renowned leaderboard. Despite starting the day with the lead, Kitayama had an inconsistent round, experiencing a triple bogey at the ninth hole. However, he managed to make a birdie on the par 3 17th hole and secured his first-ever PGA Tour triumph, accompanied by a prize of 3.6 million dollars. Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy finished just one shot behind at a score of -8.
