Law enforcement officers from several departments responded to an apartment on 6 Spring Street, Auburn, recently to arrest two men wanted for parole violations. However, the occupants of the apartment refused to come out, leading the Auburn Police Department to call for assistance from multiple agencies.
After more than five hours of negotiations, three people were arrested and charged with various offenses.
Tyrell Reeder, 38, was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon. Cierra M. Schroeder, 34, was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon. Kawonjamin Curtis Felton, 41, was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon. Two long guns, a Glock-style BB gun, heroin, and molly were found inside the apartment.
The APD issued a statement explaining that officers arrived at the apartment at 9 pm on March 2nd, but the occupants did not respond to calls made over a PA system.
