The Skaneateles Lakers hockey team (20-3-0) blanked the Webster Schroeder Warriors (13-10-1), 4-0, on Saturday evening at the Allyn Ice Arena to advance to the Division II Frozen Four next Saturday at 11 a.m. in Buffalo against the Salmon River Shamrocks.
Skaneateles scored all four of its goals in the first two periods. Andrew Gaglione scored a pair of goals to lead the offense. Cole Palmer and Alex Whitlock also netted goals, while Henry Major notched three assists. Chad Lowe made 33 saves, which was his fifth consecutive shutout.
Webster Schroeder had a couple of power-play opportunities but could not cash in.
Skaneateles is looking to claim its fourth Division II title and its first since 2019.
