Some surprising news out of One Bills Drive on Tuesday morning.
The Bills announced that defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier will take the 2023 season off from coaching and will return to coaching in 2024, although it is not clear if that will be with Buffalo or elsewhere.
General Manager Brandon Beane said the team is still working through how to fill the vacancy, noting the Bills have plenty of experience on their defensive coaching staff.
Frazier, 63, joined Buffalo as the team’s DC in 2017 alongside Sean McDermott.
