Auburn teen pleads guilty to exploiting children

A 19-year-old from Auburn has pleaded guilty to sexually exploiting five children.

Darryl Overstreet has been charged with two counts of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, and three counts of Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors, according to Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonocci.


Overstreet had convinced five boys between the ages of 12 and 15 to engage in sexual acts that were recorded, said Antonocci.

The 19-year-old appeared in court and pleaded guilty to all the charges. He could be facing 5-15 years in prison when he is sentenced on June 22nd in Cayuga County Court.
