State Route 366 was closed to westbound traffic for approximately four hours on Thursday following a collision involving a car and a bicycle, according to authorities.
A Cornell University spokesperson told 14850 that the Cornell University Police Department, Ithaca Fire Department, and Bangs Ambulance responded to the incident near the intersection of Pine Tree Road at around 1:15pm. The spokesperson did not provide any information about the collision or whether anyone was injured.
An alert was issued to drivers asking them to seek an alternative route.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the crash to contact the Cornell University Police Department.
